Edward Furness-Smith has joined JM Finn as a senior investment manager in the London office.
Furness-Smith joins from WH Ireland where he looked after a range of private clients, trust, pension and charity portfolios. He worked alongside his colleague, John Eastgate, who will join JM Finn in December 2017, following the completion of his contractual notice period.
Furness-Smith, who began his career at PwC in 2005 before entering the world of investment management with Brown Shipley, will report to Sarah Soar, Head of Investment Management. He said: “I’m delighted to have joined JM Finn & Co, where I’m confident I will be able to provide clients with a quality investment management service, thanks to the huge focus on offering a highly personal service. This, combined with the recently added wealth planning proposition, eagerness for growth and robust ownership structure, was a huge factor in the decision to take the plunge and move to JM Finn & Co.”
Soar said: “We are proud to have tempted Edward over to the firm, and I’m in no doubt that his experience and skill set will fit in seamlessly.”
