Any IFAs interested in finding out more about how to invest in original games creation are invited to attend the launch of the hybrid SEIS/EIS PlayFund on Saturday 18 February, any time between 1pm and 4pm at BAFTA, in London.
The invitation is extended to IFAs and their children. Whilst there’s an opportunity to learn more about investment opportunities in the sector, and enjoy champagne and afternoon tea, the kids will also get the chance to play some games.
Host is Harvey Elliot, Head of Origination for PlayFund and CEO of game publisher PlayStack. He said: “The games market is the fastest growing sector of the entertainment industry. Over two billion people play games, driven largely by the proliferation of smartphones. This makes investment in the market, through the right product, compelling. Join us to find out more about this exciting opportunity.”
Elliot has just completed a four-year term as chair of the BAFTA Games Committee. He was previously CEO of a leading games-tools business, Marmalade Technologies, and Vice President & General Manager at Electronic Arts.
BAFTA is on 195 Piccadilly, W1J 9LN.
