Chartered financial planner Alex Bolton has joined Tilney’s Nottingham office.
The UK investment management and financial planning group said that the appointment was part of a major recruitment drive.
Bolton will become part of Tilney’s ‘two expert’ approach. This sees financial planners paired alongside the firm’s investment managers to provide, said the firm, a high quality integrated wealth management service to clients.
Bolton joins from Castlegate Financial Management where he spent four years as a financial planner and pension specialist. Prior to this, he was a pension adviser at Oval Financial Services.
Regional head of financial planning at Tilney Rob Chandler said: “Alex is a highly-talented financial planner and has a great track record of forging and maintaining relationships with both clients and key professional connections in the accountancy and solicitor space.
“He joins us during a period of growth for the firm within the financial planning sector and will be a key member of the team as we continue to reinforce our ‘two expert’ approach to supporting clients with financial advice and tailored investment management.”
