Jargonfree has  launched a radio-style podcast aimed at anyone and everyone with an interest in pensions and personal finance.

Jargonfree Benefits founder and head of Paradigm Pensions, Steve Bee has yet again come up with an innovative and interesting way of opening up the otherwise often-complicated and mundane world of pensions.

Jargonfree Radio, which can be accessed through Bee’s jargonfreepensions.co.uk website or Youtube, will centre around a series of conversations between Bee and a wide range of prominent people in the pensions and personal finance industry. As the name suggests, and characteristically of Bee’s work, the new initiative has been designed to be completely free of industry jargon ensuring the content can be understood and enjoyed by all.

The first show features a conversation between Bee and Dr Ros Altmann, the director general of the Saga, during which the pair discuss the current state of the pensions industry and the direction in which it’s heading.

Commenting on the launch, Bee said:

“If jargon is what you are looking for you don’t have to go far in this industry. The place is littered with people whose job it would seem is to make pensions, and personal finance in general, look and sound as complicated as possible.

“The Jargonfree business I am building is about completely the opposite. It’s about making the world pensions and personal finance interesting, accessible and understandable for those that will benefit the most – everyday men and women and the trustees and financial advisers they rely on for guidance. Jargonfree Radio is part of that.”
