Gill Cardy (IFA Centre) will: (i) review what FSA rules and guidance say about the requirements for delivering Independent advice post-RDR (ii) explode the myths created by companies only concerned about selling their products and services, and (iii) consider how to create panels and investment philosophies to help deliver cost-effective and compliant Independent advice

Mike Mount (J M Finn) will show how they work in partnership with IFAs to deliver consistent and compliant investment strategies tailored to individual IFAs, their investment philosophy and clients Gill Cardy (IFA Centre) will explain how one IFA developed a ‘Bridge Process’ to ensure consistent advice within their firm and provide an audit trail to evidence consideration of suitable products

Katharine Bonner (Defaqto) will (i) explore what a paraplanner does and why paraplanners are (or should be) more than administrators (ii) consider how advisers can make use of in-house or outsourced paraplanners in delivering well-evidenced client advice(iii) set out a template for how to drive the best value from your in-house or out-sourced paraplanner
