MPs vote against no-deal but what does this mean for UK businesses and investors

Luke Davis, CEO of IW Capital, comments on the impact this vote against a no-deal is going to have on business and investment:

“Avoiding a no-deal Brexit is the one thing that businesses of all sizes seem to agree on and should boost the confidence of business owners, investors and traders. Confidence in the future of British business is what will ultimately bring about the certainty that we are currently searching for.

“In the long term this will surely be a positive move, to avoid crashing out of the EU puts us in a better position but in the next two months there is still a huge amount of uncertainty that needs to be dealt with by the Government. Knowing what the future holds is especially important for our nation of small businesses and entrepreneurs who make up the backbone of our fantastic private sector.”
