The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment broke the news that Sheraton Financial Planning based in Fareham, Hampshire, has become a CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firm.
This means that Sheraton has joined only 71 other accredited firms which have demonstrated their professionalism by meeting the highest standards of excellence in financial planning.
For a firm to become an Accredited Financial Planning Firm it must:
- evidence that it meets strict criteria in relation to the delivery of financial planning;
- place clients at the heart of its business proposition and ensure they receive consistently excellent service;
- re-confirm it meets the standards on an annual basis to retain its accredited financial planning firm status.
In addition, the firm’s individual or supervisor of team in charge of all FCA registered financial planners offering a financial planning service must be qualified as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, or the majority of the financial planners in the company so certified.
Jason Eldrid CFP Chartered MCSI, the director of Sheraton Financial Planning, said: “In the continual development of Sheraton FP, accreditation demonstrates our pursuit of excellence in everything we do for clients in delivering a lifestyle financial planning service, with the objective of supporting clients to achieve their lifetime goals.”
Jacqueline Lockie CFP Chartered FCSI, the Head of Financial Planning at the CISI, said: “It’s a pleasure to have Sheraton Financial Planning as an Accredited Financial Planning Firm. As a firm they have not only met the strict entry criteria, but they have demonstrated their commitment to the highest level of financial planning excellence.”
