Independent financial advisers Chase de Vere have appointed Brad Packham as a Research Analyst.

The appointment follows the launch of their Select Portfolio Management Service in June, which gave Chase de Vere clients access to an in-house discretionary investment management service for the first time.

The investment team is headed by Ben Willis, who joined the company from Whitechurch Securities.

Packham, who will be based in the Company’s Bath offices, will become actively involved in fund research, portfolio maintenance and ongoing reporting.

This will be Packham’s first permanent role, having graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Bath in July 2018. He previously completed a one-year placement working in the Fixed Income Team with Vanguard Asset Management, where he assisted on the Active Trading Desk and Credit Research Analysts.

Willis, Head of Portfolio Management, said: “I am delighted that Brad will be joining our portfolio management team. He is a bright young graduate who will provide valuable support to our existing team, while developing his own professional career at Chase de Vere.

“We are determined that our clients will benefit from a market-leading investment proposition as this will help us to achieve our goal of being the premier firm of independent financial advisers in the UK.”
