Boutique planning led wealth manager EQ Investors has appointed Vanda Cox to lead its corporate benefits business.
In a newly created role, Cox will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the corporate benefits team.
Cox joins with over 30 years’ consultancy experience in the corporate benefits and wider advisory market, most recently with Broadstone Corporate Benefits, where, as a director, she was responsible for leading the defined contribution pensions side of the business.
Executive Director of EQ Investors Mark Howlett said: “An appointment of Vanda’s calibre is something worth celebrating – she brings a wealth of corporate pension and employee benefits knowledge and experience to our operation.
“As a client-focused business we are always looking for individuals who really understand our clients’ changing needs and seek to not only meet, but exceed their expectations – Vanda has a proven track record of doing just that. Her leadership experience of Broadstone Corporate Benefits and UBS Wealth Management will also be a huge asset to the corporate benefits team and further strengthens EQ as a whole.”
Cox added: “I am excited to be joining EQ and look forward to contributing to its ongoing success. Legislative and regulatory changes have increased complexity for employers and employees alike – making clear pension and financial education communicated via the workplace imperative.
“Employers need trusted support and insight more than ever before. Our role is to deliver the advice and services that will enable them to meet both current and future challenges.”
